ABOUT G.T.B.S., COMPANY BACKGROUND
For more than 40 years we have engaged in virtually every aspect of structural and
concrete production and construction. We leveraged our experience and deep domain
expertise to develop the breakthrough (GTSB) Global Technology Building Systems
precast system. This system combines the core benefits of solid precast, pour-in-place
and tilt-up-systems, with the added benefits of significantly lower material and labor
cost. The dramatic reduction in raw materials also makes Global Technology Building
Systems far more sustainable than most other forms of concrete construction.
Over the years, builders and developers from across the United States, South America,
the Caribbean, Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands, and other parts of the world have
enjoyed Global Technology Building Systems' many benefits on scores of diverse
projects. Examples of Global Technology Building Systems projects range from all
forms of residential housing, to multi-story luxury hotels to special applications such
as cooling towers, artificial reefs and barrier walls. The majority of the worlds building
systems aren't able to combine the benefitsof affordablity and durablity in a single
solution. Because of this, affordable housing projects in particular have suffered from
unsafe and high maintenance construction. With increased global recognition for the
importance of safe and more durable affordable housing and stricter building code
enforcement, the need for a solution like GTSB has never been greater. And as a
socially-minded company, we take great satisfaction and pride in knowing that the
Global Technology Building Systems contribute to making safe and more dignified
housing available to more people around the world.

OUR SOCIAL COMMITMENT
Here at the Global Technology Building Systems in Hays Kansas, we do not just
provide an economical building system. We help others afford to live in safe
and well-built properties.
Currently more than 1.6 billion people in developing countries live in unsafe,
substandard housing, and this number is projected to grow to more than
3 billion, or over 40% of the world’s population, within the next 20 years.
According to a UN Habitat report “accessibility and affordability” are among the
key reasons for the world’s shortage of durable housing. The report asserts
that safe, durable housing is out of reach of the vast majority of the world’s poor.
We believe that the Global Technology Building Systems have the potential to
represent the turning point to this global housing crisis because it uniquely
facilitates construction that is both durable and affordable.
Each Global Technology Building Systems unit that replaces an informal makeshift
shelter could mean one more family with a roof that doesn't leak when it rains
and a door that locks to keep them safe at night, And each unit with indoor
plumbing could mean another family less likely to contract diseases, like
dysentery and malaria.
We recognize and accept the profound moral responsibility we have to use
our unique advantage to make a difference in the world, and we welcome
the help of partners who would like to join us in this mission.
